HanMac Word-K is a full featured Macintosh wordprocessor application to handle Korean and English text, developed and distributed by HanMac Software, Inc. as a shareware. The licensee fee is US$35.00 for each copy.

File Conversion
You can convert files created with other wordprocessors through Claris XTND system or HanMac's proprietary Filter system.
• Claris XTND system is installed automatically along with HanMac Word-K, but it is your responsibility to get and install each individual XTND filter program for the file type you want to convert.
• HanMac filter programs are provided in HanMac Filter folder to let you convert files such as HanMac Word version 1.0 documents, Simple Text files including read-only type, HNC Word 2.x and HNC Word 3.0 (HNC is the DOS/Windows wordprocessor from Hangul and Computer Corporation).
HanMac Word-K Help
HanMac Word-K is provided without any manual at the moment, but you can get help in many ways to catch how to use HanMac Word-K commands.
1) The Help command in the Apple menu provides descriptions of all menu commands.
2) The balloon help provides description of each icon on the document window and palettes.
3) When you click the "?" mark on a dialog box, it expands at the bottom and you will see the description of an item pointed by the mouse as you move it around. When you click the "?" again, the help box disappears.
Registering HanMac Word-K
You can try HanMac Word-K without registration but please be aware that it has following restrictions until you register:
1) You are not allowed to use it in Korea.
2) You will have a five-second delay to start the program.
3) When you print a document, a registration notice appears at the top of each page.
4) You can use it for no more than 90 days.
To register, launch Register program, fill ordering information, and save to a disk file and send it by email to following address.

Using the Software indicates that the licensee ("you") have read this license agreement and agree to its terms. You further agree that the license agreement is the complete and sole statement of the agreement between you and the licensor, HanMac Software, Inc. ("HanMac") and supersedes any other prior agreement or communication concerning the subject of this agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this license, do not use the Software and promptly destroy the Software.
License
HanMac agrees to grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Software outside Korea subject to the terms set forth below. You may use the Software on one computer at a time, or up to the number as specified in the multi-use license. You may make backup copies of the Software solely for archive purposes, which are subject to this agreement. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile or decode the Software in order to derive any human perceivable form, or translate, sub-license, resell for profit, lend, rent, or lease any portion of the Software. You may not distribute the Software electronically over a network, or merge it with another program or create derivative works based on the Software.
Term
This license is effective until terminated. Both the license and your right to use the Software terminates automatically if you violate any part of this agreement. In the event of termination, you must immediately destroy all copies of the Software and related documents.
Limited Warranty
The Software and related documents are provided as is and without any kind of warranty. HanMac does not warrant that the Software is free from bugs, errors, and omissions.
Limitation of Liability
HanMac shall not be liable for any direct, incidental, or consequential damages, such as, but not limited to, loss of anticipated profits or benefits, resulting from the use of the Software or as the result of a breach of warranty.
Support Policy
HanMac intends to provide quality support to licensees who respect this license agreement.
About HanMac Word 2.0
The HanMac Word 2.0 is a commercial product currently distributed by HanMac Software for Korean Macintosh wordprocessor users. It has all menus, dialog boxes, help messages and the manual in Korean.
About I-Write
I-Write is a commercial product which is the Japanese wordprocessor, localized version of HanMac Word. In addition to HanMac Word features, many Japan-specific text editing and paragraph formatting features were implemented for I-Write. It has all menus, dialog boxes, help messages and the manual in Japanese.
